Adam Taqui has over 16 years of
experience with OSIsoft.He progressed from Field Sales
Account Manager to Regional Sales Manager to Vice President of Americas.Prior to joining OSIsoft, he worked
in field sales at Honeywell, Bailey Controls (now ABB) and Emerson Electric for
over 14 years combined.
Adam earned a Bachelor of Science
degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and a Master of
Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.

Adrian Horacio Pavesi
Adrian
got a BS degree from Universidad Champagnat (Mendoza, Argentina) in 2004 as an
Information Systems Licensee. He got a postgraduate degree in 2013 in
Information Technology and has developed a solid career as an Infrastructure
and Real time Operation Systems Expert.
Since
2012 he has worked as the Automation Team Leader at Sinopec Argentina E&P.
Before that, he spent 6 years as Automation Specialist and Information
Technology Coordinator at Occidental Argentina E&P.
He
started his professional career in 2004 as a Project Manager and PI System
Administrator at YPF in Golf San Jorge Basin (upstream BU).
Adrian
has over twenty years of experience in architecture and development of control
systems. He has developed a number of connectivity projects in oil fields using
different technologies such as SDH, PDH and Wireless Broadband Technologies.
He
has extensive experience in project management with OPC, TCP / IP technologies
and SCADA applications servers.

Alessandro Diniz
Alessandro Diniz is a geotechnology
professional with 22 years of experience. He has a bachelor’s degree in System
Analysis and a graduation degree in IT and started his career as Geoprocessing
and Remote Sensing Analyst. He was GIS (Geographic Information System)
consultant in companies such as Vale O&G and Petrobrás. He also worked as
Project Manager in the GIS implementation in energy companies.
He is currently responsible
for the product’s portfolio and GIS services at Imagem for the O&G industry
and integrates the Solutions Sales Team for this market.

Anderson Amaral
Anderson Amaral holds a Bachelor’s Degree in
Electrical Engineering, concentration in Energy and Automation from University
of São Paulo, Brazil and a Post-Graduation in IT Management.
He worked as senior consultant in Manufacturing
Execution Systems implementation, including planning, installation, and
customizing to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and increase
production for industries. In addition to Project Coordination and Implantation
of SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence) and Production
Information Management Systems (PIMS).
In OSIsoft since 2009, currently, he works as
System Engineer in Latin America, providing sales support, acting as expert to
answer questions, explaining the value of the PI System and suggesting business
solutions.

Ary Pinto Ribeiro Filho
Counsellor
and Director of the Electric Power Trading Chamber -CCEE. Executive of the
energy industry, with deep experience in the Brazilian electric sector with
over thirty years of experience, the last 11 in the director position.
Strategic vision, with knowledge and management of the technical and market areas.
Strong results orientation, adding innovations and excellence in execution. He
acted in technical and commercial areas in the generation, transmission,
distribution, regulation and commercialization of energy, always in large
organizations like Celtins, Celpe, NC Energy, Aneel and CHESF.
He
directed the technical and commercial areas of Celpe and he was manager of the
NC Energy and CHESF. It was Special Advisor to the Board of Aneel. Directs the
technical area of Celtins. Specializations in Japan and the United States. He
was professor of business model of the electric sector, the MBA Electricity
Distribution and MBA coordinator of Intelligent Networks (Smart Grid) at the
University of Pernambuco - UPE.
He

Danilo
Bordini has bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from FATEC (Sorocaba,
Brazil) and a graduate degree in Marketing from FGV. Certified as MCSE and MSCA
in Windows 2000 / 2003 / 2008. He works in the IT area since 1996, with
experience in Software Development and Computer Networks. Presently, his job
title is Technical Evangelist Manager, leading the Software Development &
Infrastructure team. It is a job where he can reconcile his Business and
Innovation passion. Lately, he discuss technological trends with partners,
clients and technical community’s members. Such as Mobile Development, Cloud
Computing, IT Consumerization, Social Media and Apps.

David Thomason is the
Industry Principal for Power Generation at OSIsoft. He has 29 years of
experience in the application of information technology to the requirements of
the concessionaire of electricity and power generation industry. David is an
active advocate in the use of advanced analysis and to increase business value
technologies.
He worked at GenOn
Energy, RRI, Rellant Energy and HL & P, where his responsibilities included
the management of multi markets such as Energy Management System, Silver and
Analytical Data Systems and Unfolding Software and SAP Work & Materials
Management.

Eduardo Zanin
Eduardo Zanin
holds bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Santa
Catarina, graduate degree in Organization, Systems and Methods from the Universidade
Federal de Santa Catarina and in Web Software Development from Universidade do
Vale do Itajaí, and MBA in Project Management from the FIA/USP and in Business
Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
He works at
Petrobrás since 2003 and currently coordinates a distributed team between Rio
de Janeiro and Salvador, composed by systems analysts and automation engineers.
Eduardo is responsible for the TIC administration to the Energy Operations and
Participations Management. Besides, he manages the industrial automation
projects planning for all business areas that involves Natural Gas and Energy.

Emerson Molina
Emerson Molina, Civil
Engineer with Project Management MBA from FIA (“Fundação Instituto de
Administração”), with over 20 years of professional experience. After working
in big civil companies, acting in major construction projects, he started his
career at Comgás in 2003 where Emerson had the opportunity of working in
different areas such as Expansion, Technical Support and Emergency. Nowadays he
is responsible for the Control Room where the natural gas volume distributed by
Comgás is managed through City Gates, ERPs (pressure reduction stations) and major clients monitoring.
With the challenge of
maintaining the area updated in relation to the available technologies, he has
been developing improvement projects utilizing PI System, SCADA e SAP.

Gabriel
Rezende de Oliveira Nascimento
Gabriel Nascimento has a
bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a graduation degree in chemical
processes from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). He started his
career as Process Engineer at Oxiteno and continue it at Solvay, where he has
the Senior Process Engineer’s job title and is responsible for the Acidic Acid
plants and N2O abatement at Solvay. He worked with continual processes and in
batch with process optimization focus, he also worked in projects of new and
modified plants in Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela. During this time, he worked
with several types of data acquisition and process control systems. His
experience with the PI System started when he entered in Solvay and it is
consolidating with projects execution and articulation of PI System related
subjects for the polyamide segment and specialties in Brazil.

Gary Wong
Gary Wong is OSIsoft’s
Principal, Global Water Industry and has 20 years of extensive international
experience providing sustainable, strategic and cost-effective business
solutions, particularly in the water industry. Prior to joining OSIsoft, he was
the Manager, Corporate Applications at Metro Vancouver and has also held
previous positions in senior management and consulting. Additionally, Gary has
worked with major international organizations in both the public and private
sector on Operations, IT strategy, planning, sustainability, and engineering.
Mr. Wong holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, is registered as a
Professional Engineer in Computer Engineering, holds an M.B.A. from the Queen’s
School of Business and is also a Chartered Professional Accountant.

João Carlos Cunha
João
Carlos Cunha is a Development Engineer at the Compania Siderúrgica Nacional
since 2011. He has bachelor’s degree in Control and Automation Engineering from
the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2009), and a graduation degree in
Company’s Administration from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2014). João has
experience in automation and information technology in the Metals & Mining
industry. He was one of the authors of the project that won the Arcelor Mittal
Tubarão Quality and Productivity award in 2009. He has a Maintenance Equipment
Management System patent (INPI - 2010).

Mr. Martini holds a master degree
and a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, also he is currently professor at
the “Escola Politécnica da USP”. He has specialization in power transmission,
substations, transmission lines, control centers, automation systems
integration, networks and smart cities. Member of the Advisory Board of CienTec
Park, Trustee Member of FITec (Foundation for Technological Innovation), Member
of the Brazilian National Committee of Electricity Production and Transmission
Cigré Brazil, Member of the ITS Management Council (Institute of Technology and
Software), Scientific Accessor of FAPESP (Foundation for the Research of State
of Sao Paulo), Member of Union of Sao Paulo State Engineers Technological
Council, Associate Researcher of GESEL (Group of Electricity Sector Studies at
the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), Academic Director of the Training and
Study Center on Energy; Member of the State Council of Energy Policy for the
State of Sao Paulo, Member of the Advisory Council of the CNTU (National
Confederation of University Workers Regulated), Director of the Department of

Juvenor Pereira da Silva Júnior
Juvenor has bachelor’s degree in
Mathematics, a graduation degree in Computer Science and a MBA in Management Development.
At the beginning of his career, he worked in systems development and banking
automation. When he joined Eletrobrás in 1987, he began his career in
Supervision and Control Systems, working in the team that implemented the CNOS
- National Center for System Operation. Over 28 years working with Supervision
and Control Systems, he participated in maintenance processes, operation,
upgrade and systems upgrade utilized by Eletrobrás and later on by ONS, in
which he joined in 2000 as Senior Systems Analyst. He is currently the
Executive Director of Supervision and Control at ONS.

Kevin Walsh
Kevin P. Walsh is the OSIsoft
Global Industry Principal for Transmission/Distribution and Smart Grid. Walsh
has been working at OSIsoft for five years. Prior to joining OSIsoft, he worked
with Alsom/AREVA and SAP. At Alstom T&D/AREVA T&D he focused on large
utilities for medium/high voltage switchgear and critical operational software.
At SAP he was Industry Principal for Utilities and played a critical role in
SAP’s working groups to drive SAP’s software direction for Smart Metering and
Smart Grid. Walsh also has extensive experience with software for time series
data as it applies to billing, central markets and operations.

Lance
Fountaine joined OSIsoft in October 2013 as director of Industry Metals and
Mining after a twenty-year career in the aluminum industry (Alcoa Global
Primary Metals).
In his last work before
leaving Alcoa, Lance was responsible for the implementation of best practices in
the industry with the development of applications in manufacturing. This work
was based on the adoption of the PI System and data infrastructure to support
the efforts of continuous improvement, operational excellence and
sustainability of ongoing business.

Márcia Cintra
Marcia
has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a graduate degree in Automation
and Control Engineering. With over 15 years of experience in the automation
area, she acts currently as coordinator of the Automation area in the company
Odebrecht Ambiental, from the Odebrecht Group. In this position, her main
challenge is to integrate and consolidate the automation systems into a single
platform and maximize the benefits of information for the business.

Márcia Jacobina
Marcia has a bachelor's degree and Master in Computer Science as well as graduation in Finances. With over 20 years of experience in IT at a large company, she has worked in several segments, with special emphasis on data integration and business intelligence. Currently, she works as a Technical Systems and BI Manager at Odebrecht Ambiental, from the Odebrecht Group. In this position, her main challenge is to integrate and consolidate the automation systems on a single platform and manage the Geographic Information System Project (GIS), providing strategic information and maximizing the benefits of information in the business.

Maria Alice
Maria Alice has a degree in Mechanical Engineering
from UNESP (Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho”) in Bauru,
São Paulo. She started at OSIsoft as part of
the internship program at the beginning of 2013. She was hired as Costumer
Support Engineer in 2014 and she is responsible for the PI Integrator for Esri
ArcGIS installations in LATAM.
Before OSIsoft, Maria Alice did an
internship at ZF-Sachs in Araraquara, São Paulo, where she developed a project
about Economic Lot Sizing. At the University, she also was part of the
aerodesign team.

Martin Otterson
Martin Otterson has more than 15 years of software industry
experience and success. Martin joined OSIsoft in 2002. As the Senior Vice
President, Sales, Marketing, and Industry, Martin leads OSIsoft teams on the
effort to maintain market leadership in streaming data and events
infrastructure for the energy and manufacturing industries.
Prior to OSIsoft, Martin worked at Cisco Systems, where he was
instrumental in the Cisco Systems acquisition of the Unity product line from
Active Voice. He began his career at Active Voice, where he provided senior
leadership in the Unified Communications marketing and sales strategy and drove
strategic partnerships, customer acquisitions, and business development.

Michael
Graves is the Oil and Gas´s Industry Principal in OSIsoft. Michael joined
OSIsoft in 2013 after having been for 25 years in leadership roles for
organizations focused on information from Fortune 500.
In his current role at
OSIsoft, Michael interacts with senior executives of the Business and IT in the
oil industry to promote real-time information as a valuable asset to the
corporation and teach the unique capabilities of the PI System as a corporate
infrastructure for data in real time.

Also, he holds a postgraduate degree in Business Management from IBMEC. Nelson worked as engineer at Nuclear Plant of Angra dos Reis (Rio de Janeiro state) and CEMIG (Electrical Company of Minas Gerais), holding various positions of Manager and Director. He was the National Distribution and Marketing Coordinator of CIER (Regional Energy Integration Commission) and member of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Committee of the CIER. He was Director of Regulatory Affairs and Special Projects and Director of Operations of the Distribution Companies of Eletrobrás.

Raquel holds a graduate degree in Pulp & Paper from the Universidade
Federal de Viçosa (Minas Gerais, Brazil, 2013) and a bachelor’s degree in
Information System from Universidade do Planalto Catarinense (Santa Catarina,
Brazil, 2006). Currently she works at Klabin Papéis as Automation Technical
Assistant, with experience in Industrial Automation and Instrumentation, emphasis in advanced controls through SDCD’s, PLC’s and Information Systems
such as PI System and Braincube, which integrate sensors in the industry process
and ERP’s (SAP).

Sergio Novaes Manzano
Ronaldo Manzano has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical
Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial (FEI) and a master’s
degree in Mechanics and Automation from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas
(UNICAMP). His job title, currently, is MES Project Senior Manager in Latin and
North America at Solvay. His experience with the PI System started in 1990 at
Solvay and continues at Rhodia. He developed his master’s thesis using fuzzy
logic and PI System tags. As Project Manager, he have been managing medium and
large MES projects in France, United States of America and Brazil.

Rosemberg
Rocha Leite has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Universidade
Federal da Bahia. He has seven years of experience in IT projects in the
Industrial Automation area, where he already worked as Developer, Solutions
Architect, Project Leader and Development Team Leader. He also taught software
development classes at Faculdade Área1.
He
works at Petrobrás for eight years and currently acts in the IT Project
Development Coordination for Industrial Automation, attending several company
areas, including Energy and Gas, Oil Exploration and Production and Supply.

Silverio Cavazos Leal
Silverio has an Electric
Engineer degree from “Tecnológico de Monterrey” México. He has more than 20
years of experience in the Cement and automation processes industries, he
started his first PI System project in 1995.
Silverio joined OSIsoft in
2005, working in multiple areas of the company. Including Sr. Field Service
Engineer and Enterprise Project Manager. In this role, he helped different
Enterprise Agreement clients to implement a robust OSIsoft infrastructure. Including CEMEX,
Gas Natural and Anglo Chile.
He is now Sr. System
Engineer for OSIsoft LATAM.

Thomas Keyser
Thomas Keyser has 18 years of experience in power grid
operations at PJM Interconnection. His current role is a Master
Dispatcher responsible for the safe and reliable real time operation of the PJM
high-voltage electric power grid which spans 13 states in the Mid-Atlantic
United States. Keyser’s prior jobs include Generation Dispatcher responsible
for balancing electricity supply from power stations with demand from customers
while maintaining adequate contingency reserves, and a Master Coordinator
responsible for power system load forecasting, generation scheduling, and
coordinating and implementing real time energy and transmission schedules.

Walter Flores
Walter is a Professional
Instrumentation Expert in Automation and Industrial System Controls. Walter holds
a Post-Graduation in Industrial Automation. He has more than 20 years of
experience in design, start-up, and maintenance of industrial control systems.
Walter developed optimization and improvement for Industrial Systems and
development applications and strategies of instrumentation control loops. He
implemented and designed PIDS for industrial controls. Walter was trained in
handling Emerson Process Management DeltaV Digital Control Systems (DCS) with
Foundation Fieldbus field instruments at Emerson Process Management main
Headquarters in Southern Peru Cooper, in Peru and Mipac. In Australia, he was
Trained in Foundation Fieldbus and Profibus in Brazil and in Delta V graphics
and Process Control in the United States. Currently he works in Peru LNG as an
Instrument Maintenance Supervisor where has developed the last application.

He has worked as the Regional Manager for LATAM at the Young&Republicam Group as well as the president, in Brazil, of Wunderman Worldwide, TVA, MTV and Newcomm Bates Group. He is the founder of the first entertainment agency in LATAM, Synapsys Marketing e Mídia.
His presentation in the conference is entitled Management in the Post Digital Era , which will be talking about the current changes in the business management area, suggesting that adaptations are needed in this new post digital environment. In his presentation, Walter will show practical and mesmerizing examples of how companies and professionals must reestablish paradigms and ensure that they have new ways of communicating with the market.
