Saddle Up for Music City
We're heading into the heart of the of it all at Vanderbilt School of Engineering

Vanderbilt University’s School of Engineering Department will host the Fluid Power Conference & Expo November 6 and 7. Vanderbilt engineers are a key part of the Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP) team in an ambitious national effort to advance the field of fluid power, which could lead to reductions in fuel consumption, state-of-the-art rescue robots and new devices to aid people with mobility impairments.

Nashville’s strategic location makes it close not only to the many manufacturing facilities in the Midwest, but also to the many newer, state-of-the-art plants in the South and Southeast. These facilities are heavy users of hydraulic and pneumatic components that are specified for the machines they manufacture and for their in-plant production equipment. Naturally, then OEMs, users, and distributors are eager to learn more about fluid power technology, components, and services they can incorporate into their designs.
