The National MPS Society is pleased to offer scholarships to our Annual Family Conference. Scholarships will be awarded to a mother, father or legal guardian of a child with an MPS or related disease, or to an adult with MPS or related disease. Scholarships will help enable families and individuals, who are not financially able, to attend the conference. Preference is given to families attending a conference for the first time. The exact number of scholarships offered will be determined by the requests received and the financial needs of the applicant.
The conference Scholarship can be allocated to:
- Hotel: maximum of three nights
- Travel: maximum of $500
Criteria for applying:
- Member in good standing of the National MPS Society
- Parent or legal guardian of a child with an MPS or related disease OR adult with an MPS or related disease
- U.S. resident
- Application must be completed electronically using our online application program
- Applicant must provide a letter stating why they want to attend the conference and how they or their family may benefit.
The application form and explanatory letter must be completed and submitted electronically no later than June 1, 2015.
Go to https://mps.onlineapplications.net/ applications/. If you are a first-time user, click on “Register Now” to set up your account. Once you are logged in, open the 2015 Conference Scholarship Application. If you are a returning user, simply log in and apply.
