We are around the final bend and are heading up the home straight with only five sleeps to go before Universities Australia’s 2014 Higher Education Conference kicks-off. If you have forgotten to register it is not too late. You need to be quick though - registrations will close Monday COB. But for the majority of you who are all prepped and ready for next week, we look forward to seeing you bright-eyed and ready on Wednesday morning. Who doesn’t like a good finale? And it’s with that point in mind that we have put together a conference ending that is sure to give you plenty to talk about as you head back to Canberra Airport (which coincidently was crowned the 2013 Australian Airport of the Year). The closing plenary session: Looking back, looking forward, looking sideways, will feature a Nobel Prize Laureate, an Australian of the Year, a project scientist for a revolutionary array of radio telescopes and… one of Australia’s best known science commentators and comedians.
